INTRODUCTION

—LIB MIL-STD Blowing Sand and Dust Test Chamber is used for evaluating the resistance of a system to dust and sand particles in accordance with MIL-STD-810G.

—The dust procedure (<150 μm) measures the ability of equipment to resist dust that may block openings, enter cracks, crevices, bearings, and joints, and tests the effectiveness of filters.

—The sand procedure (150–850 μm) evaluates the equipment’s ability to operate in sandy conditions without losing performance, reliability, or maintainability due to abrasion or blockage.

—This chamber simulates harsh desert and battlefield environments for high-reliability equipment testing.

—The system supports both blowing sand and dust tests in full compliance with MIL-STD-810.

Wide Temperature Range: Operates from 10 °C to 80 °C to simulate various environmental test conditions for dust and sand exposure.

Precise Blowing Dust Control: Maintains dust concentration at 10.7 ± 7 g/m³, in accordance with MIL-STD testing requirements for fine particles.

Multiple Sand Concentration Settings: Supports three standard blowing sand concentrations—0.18 ± 0.2 g/m³, 1.1 ± 0.3 g/m³, and 2.2 ± 0.5 g/m³—to simulate different desert and battlefield conditions.

High-Efficiency Centrifugal Fan: Equipped with a large centrifugal fan to generate strong, consistent airflow for uniform sand and dust dispersion.

Adjustable Wind Speed Control: Enables precise adjustment of wind speed to match a range of test scenarios, enhancing test repeatability and accuracy.
